Skylab 2016 Preview

Skylab 2016 is sure to keep me entertained this year, Global Dance had graduated from the the First Bank Center to the Stadium Arena at The National Western Complex in Denver, with five stages, and 39 producers! Last year was full of energy and all walks of life enjoyed a variety of artists at the event. This year I look forward to exploring all stages.

The Skylab Launch Pad will include Deorro, KSHMT, Markus Schulz, DJ Dan vs. Donald Glaude, LA Leakers, and our hometown hero, FURY.

The Bass Lander will house Bro Safari, Crizzly, Dieselboy, Dirty Audio, and Rickyxsan.
The Explorer Stage will include Ghostss vs Last Heroes, Torres, Z-W, Cruz vs Mastermash, TSA, EKG, and Cheese Squad.

The Silent Disco Port will include Kexx b2b Groves, Kyle b2b Adam Adonis, Amberdehn, T.O.C., Helix, E.DBL, DJ Suave.

Now, I can honestly say I am here for the Bass Lander. I need to feel the beat, in my gut, need it to make me move, and those sounds that make you say, “What. The. F^ck?”

I saw Bro Safari twice this summer in Vegas for the Bassrush Pool Party during EDC week, as well as in the front row at EDC. If you put Nick in front of the deck and give him some festival speakers, he will throw-the-fuck-down, not gonna lie, can’t wait to see him again. Check out his new track Reality

Crizzly never disappoints, he keeps to his roots. I dug up this article from four years ago, he’s ture and loyal to crunkstep. Chris and his hypeman have great chemistry on stage, not too much talk from the hype man, heavy beats throughout the whole set, interactive with the crowd, feeding pizza, surfing pizza, and beats, more beats.

I am pretty stoked to check out Rickyxsan because he released “Them vibes” EP through one of my favorite labels, Never Say Die, and whatever SKiSm likes, I like. I have high standards for this set and I know it will be a great way to start the night.
